2. Usage .
POM has been widely used in electronic and electrical, mechanical , instruments, daily-use light industrial, automotive, building materials, agriculture and other fields. In many new fields of applications such as medical technology, sports equipment, etc., POM has a very low coefficient of friction and good geometric stability, particularly suited to the production of gears and bearings. It also has properties as a result of high temperature, it is also used pipe device (pipe valves, pump casing), lawn equipment, etc.

80-90C, 3-4 hours Cylinder Temperature: Nozzle :180-210 (C) Front Section :190-210 (C) Center Section : 170-200 (C) Rear Section : 160-180 (C) Melt Temperature : 180-210 (C) Mold Temperature : 60-90 (C) (Precision parts are often molede at a mold at a mold temperature as high as 120C) Pressure : Injection Pressure : 50-100 Mpa Holding Pressure : 30-80 Mpa Back Pressure:0-0.5 MPa Screw Rotational Speed : 50-120 rpm

Recommended Extruded Conditions Standard extruders with grooved feed zone and short compression screws (min. 25 D) will fit. Melt temperature : 180-190C
